Why support us?The Oasis is chartered as a Public Charitable organization; therefore, we provide services and activities to all people without discrimination and/or affiliation through membership. However, membership is a key component to our very existence and the pursuit of grants. Membership is the benchmark most grants used as a gauge of community support for our organization. Dues not only help us print and mail the newsletter to you it also is an avenue to buy supplies, pay for utilities, building repairs, etc. The cost to administer programs and operations, like so many businesses, has increased. The Oasis receives funding, yearly, from the Logan County Senior Levy United Way and Age Link Agency. Some money comes from local business for specific projects (example: dishwasher). We are dependent on contributions, donations and membership. Please consider helping the Oasis, the community of Logan County and the individuals who call the Oasis their home. GIFT sHOPThe Oasis has a small gift shop filled with items made and donated by our seniors. Due to our items being mostly handmade and donated, our prices are extremely affordable. Our stock and specials vary depending on the season, but we generally have quilts and blankets, hand towels, jewelry, purses, home décor, flower arrangements, greeting cards, and more! Stop in during regular business hours to check out our shop! |
